Public/Non-Members

Your association wants you! Are you ready to become a leader in the national educator preparation community, or do you know someone who is? Nominate yourself or a colleague by May 8 to serve on an AACTE standing committee.

AACTE is currently seeking applications from volunteers to serve on the following standing committees:

• Global Diversity
• Government Relations and Advocacy
• Innovation and Technology
• Meetings and Professional Development
• Membership Development and Capacity Building
• Professional Preparation and Accountability
• Research and Dissemination

Eligibility

All faculty, staff, and administrators from member institutions are eligible to serve on a standing committee. Candidates must not have served in the same capacity during the past 3 years.

Timing and Term Commitment

Committee appointments will be approved by the AACTE Board of Directors in early fall. Those appointed will serve a 3-year term beginning March 1, 2021, and will meet at least once face-to-face each year. Additional meetings may be held by conference call or online forums.
