The conference program combines exciting keynote speakers with sessions tailored for state affiliate organization leaders, Holmes Scholars, and deans and faculty. In addition, all attendees will receive personalized support for state team meetings with their Congressional representatives. Attendees can customize their experience, choose sessions that best fit their needs, and save money by registering for just one event.
Who should attend?
State Affiliate Leaders: Tailored sessions for AACTE and ACSR leaders will focus on leadership capacity building, strategic coalition building, and organizing effective advocacy campaigns. New this year, state affiliate leaders will receive one-on-one coaching on media relations.
Holmes Scholars: Programs for Holmes Scholars include visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture, a meeting at the U.S. Department of Education or an education advocacy think tank, and a Holmes social event.
Deans and Faculty: AACTE members and non-members alike will gain valuable insights to help navigate the challenges facing educators, educator preparation programs, and students today.
All participants will engage in advocacy training, culminating with Day on the Hill visits to their congressional delegation.
