Navigating Education Policy: Systems, Structures, and AACTE’s Role

This session takes you deeper into the current dynamics shaping federal education policy — and shows how AACTE engages in that work through targeted government relations and advocacy.
Attendees will gain insights on updated systems, key players, and hot-button issues influencing policy priorities in the nation’s capital. Attendees can also explore how AACTE's approach to advocacy connects to Washington Week — and how it differs from the work happening at state and local levels. Additionally, this session previews how the "Pathways Into Education Policy" activity will help apply these lessons in real time on the Hill.
