Join AACTE for the 2025 Holmes Research and Dissertation Retreat — designed specifically for graduate students in colleges of education. This immersive experience offers the following:
• Dedicated writing time
• Community-building opportunities
• Interactive sessions on theoretical frameworks, dissertation committees, funding, research methods, publishing, and more
• Expert guidance in completing dissertations and navigating the academy
Whether you are just starting your doctoral journey or nearing completion, this retreat is a space to learn, grow, and connect.
Attendance is required once during a Holmes Scholar’s tenure. Attendance fees for scholars attending this year's program start at $295. Coordinators are welcome to attend (but not required), but must register for the retreat at $75.
Registration will open to any graduate students at AACTE member institutions (regardless of Holmes Scholar affiliation) starting October 1.
